Birch

Winter-Birch

I have created ample time to focus on my art photography since moving closer to nature. I’ve spent many cold days on trails soaking in the new environment through the lens. As I hoped it would, the peace of mind and closeness to nature has opened my perspective and understanding further. Below is a collection of abstract photographs captured from a birch tree which had fallen down during a winter storm. The rarely seen bark on mid-section and top of the tree were my primary focus during this study along with the contrasting snow.
