2010 Art Photography Update

I have created ample time to focus on my art photography since moving to the country during December. I’ve spent many cold days on trails soaking in the new environment through the lens. As I hoped it would, the peace of mind and closeness to nature has opened my perspective and understanding further. Last month I found a chance to escape the cold climate and explore Puerto Rico. The trip was with family but I did find some private time to explore, create, reflect and contemplate. The contrast of dropping into a tropical environment from a hardened winter land proved inspiring and I walked away with some rather emotional compositions. I have selected over twenty-five 2010 shots and created the hi-resolution viewing gallery below. I’m really looking forward to the montage exploration possibilities stemming out of this work.. Thanks for taking a walk with me… mfw

Who knew that polluted salt flats would make such an interesting subject matter. Nice stuff.
